The golf course has often been inhabited with some seriously great games over the years and most of them have come to be inducted into the hall of fame. That would not be in the case of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13. Developed by EA Tiburon and published by EA Sports, this instalment in the PGA series is an apple that has fallen far away from the tree indeed. It has your basic golfing tournaments with new modes that were boasted of being great but they do not live up to the hype at all. In fact this is one of the weaker instalments in the entire series. It has spanned over years and has completely revolutionalised the strategic life simulation genre. Will Wright has gone through many steps to incorporate the best of elements within the series and over the years has launched different versions which are all a masterpiece in their own distinctive way. So in order to combine these two very different and distinct fields into one wholesome and exciting experience we get Zumba Fitness 2. Developed by Zoe Mode and published by Majesco Entertainment, the game features a quirky mix of pure fun and entertainment along with a superb workout regime which comes in the form of DANCE. Much like its predecessor Zumba Fitness 2 works on the core element of fitness combined with dance and greatly improves on it. But it does fall flat due to the fatal flaws that it inducts into the system which does put a damper on the whole situation.Read more...

The Need for Speed series or more popularly known as NFS has come a long way since its many expansions. It has evolved in so many ways which include better, tighter gameplay mechanics, more advanced AI, open worlds, graphical advancements and loads more. Developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronics Arts, Need for Speed: The Run is the 18th game in the series and hoped to build upon its predecessor in a positive way. The Call of Duty series shot to fame with its Modern Warfare series and it certainly did a number on the many fans who have become religiously fanatic about it. It’s an excellent war shooter which puts the player into a fantastic story driven environment and incredible gameplay mechanics to keep the action flowing at all times. Each successor has come out with flying colours and Call of Duty: Black Ops is no different. Developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, the game broke its predecessor Modern Warfare 2’s record of highest sales worldwide. Hideo Kojima is considered as one of the brightest minds in the gaming industry till date and is known for his involvement in the popular Metal Gear Solid (MGS) series. It has spanned over many years and has evolved with each new game. In commemoration of the popularity of the series and the massive success it has gained, developer and publisher Konami decided to re-launch a special edition of the Metal Gear Solid series called Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. This version is reengineered with solid HD visuals and minor tweaks that make the stealth and espionage experience even greater than before. It has a collection of three games namely MGS: Sons of Liberty, MGS: Snake Eater and MGS: Peace Walker for the PS3 and XBOX360 while the Vita version only has the first two omitting the third. Read more....
